Event Reservation

A proposal outlining rental items, location, date/time, payment agreement and cancellation fees will serve as the basis for the reservation. This proposal will be emailed for your review and signature shortly after securing your date with a deposit. Any applicable discounts will be reflected on the proposal. We may reach out with further questions before creating the proposal. Any adjustments should be discussed and finalized with both parties in agreement before signing. Rentals are fully refundable up to 2 weeks before your event. Cancellations with less than 2 weeks notice but more than 48 hour noticed will be assessed a $100 cancellation fee. Any cancellations with less than 48 hours noticed will be charged 50% of the total rental cost. Additional fees may be assessed for locations greater than 25 miles of zip code 19804.

Rental Period

The standard rental period is anytime between 9:00AM and 10:00PM of the same day. The rental time requested will be stated on the proposal, all adjustments to the agreed upon rental period must be agreed upon by both parties and specified in the rental information document. It is understood that Twilight Escapes may need access to the space before and after the event to allow for setup and take down. There is no additional fee for this required time.

Space

The reserving party agrees to provide Twilight Escapes with the minimum agreed upon space as outlined in the proposal. Inadequate space may require adjustments to the number of barriers used or players that can participate at the same time.

Wear and Tear

The appearance of the games may be slightly different than in the rental literature because of wear and tear. The games are subject to wear and tear from normal rental use and may sustain minor cosmetic damage and blemishes during the rental period, the renter is not liable for this type of damage.

Appropriate Use of the Games

The games are intended to be played in a reasonable and respectful manner. The games are not to be misused in a manner which could cause damage. Twilight Escapes reserves the right to ask any game player to leave due to any behavior the Twilight Escapes staff may deem as unsafe or wreckless. Drinks and food are not allowed in the game area.

Inclement Weather

If your event is rescheduled to a "rain date" we will do our best to accommodate your new date with no additional charge. Snow, Ice or winds that exceed 15mph may make travel and /or set up dangerous so we do reserve the right to cancel if we feel it is necessary. In that case, you would be refunded 100% including any deposits made. In the event of inclement weather prior to the start of an event where the venue does not have an indoor contingency plan, the renter will be provided a full refund of the rental price.

Damage Beyond Repair/Theft of Games

The renter acknowledges that they are responsible for all equipment from the time of possession to the time of return. Renter assumes the entire risk of loss, regardless of cause. If items are lost, stolen, or damaged the renter will assume the cost of replacing or repair, not to exceed $400. Damage includes, but is not limited to, tears, rips, scratches, dents, missing pieces, missing parts, missing instructions, permanent stains, cuts, gouges, burns, permanent aesthetic changes, holes, stickers, decals, confetti or glitter, any condition that hinders the functionality of the games and equipment, or any damage beyond normal wear and tear to be determined in the sole discretion of Twilight Escapes.

Rental Game Unavailable due to Damage or Theft

Every attempt will be made to repair, replace, or adjust a game prior to a reserved event, should it be stolen or completely destroyed by the previous renter. However, should a game be unavailable to rent due to damage or theft, an available alternate game will be offered or a refund will be given for the game that is unable to be rented.

Photo Consent

The renter hereby grants Twilight Escapes the irrevocable and unrestricted right to use, publish, display, and distribute photographs, images, and videos taken of the renter and their guests during their event for any lawful purpose, including, but not limited to, marketing, advertising, website, and social media promotion, without further compensation or permission. The renter releases Twilight Escapes from any claims or liability arising from such use. This consent is truly voluntary and can be revoked by the renter in writing at any time.

Limit of Liability

Twilight Escapes and all representatives are only financially responsible and liable for up to but not to exceed the payments and security deposit received by the renter, for the rental price of the games during the rental period agreed upon. The renter acknowledges that they are solely responsible for assuring that their guests are partaking in the GelBlaster Battle Royale experience in a safe and civil manner. Twilight Escapes is not liable for any personal injury or property damage to customer, and/or any individuals that utilize the equipment while under customer’s possession. Further, Twilight Escapes is not liable for any personal injury or property damage if the Equipment is improperly used, the Equipment malfunctions in any way, or for any other reason whatsoever related to the Customer and others’ use of the Equipment.
